1. Research Resources

(1) Hardware resources: The center has an international conference hall, meeting rooms, case teaching research rooms, and master’s and doctoral student research rooms. The college also has various software and hardware research and teaching equipment, such as: SUN server host, high-end computer workstation, e-commerce development platform, computer audit platform, collaborative commerce and group decision-making platform, electronic whiteboard and other valuable instruments and equipment; each classroom and research room is equipped with electric projection screen, network point, single-gun LCD projector, laser printer, personal computer, and audio-visual equipment. The comfortable and complete research environment can enhance the interaction and output of the research team and teachers and students in the research process. In addition, we also have professional information security SOC system, computer audit system, stock virtual trading system and other large-scale valuable instruments and equipment environment.

(2) Software resources: The center has TEJ Taiwan Economic Journal database, NAIC life insurance company financial report database, Oracle database system from Oracle Corporation, AREMOS database, MATLAB database, STATISTICA V10 DATA Miner (data mining), S&P COMPUSTAT corporate financial analysis database (global version + North American version), SAS Enterprise, Tableau Software, Rapid Miner big data analysis software, statistical analysis software, stock market virtual trading system, information security event integration analysis system software, enterprise resource planning system (ERP), supply chain management system (SCM), WIN PROLOCN software, asynchronous teaching editing system, smart card file management and application development system, AUDITOR COMMAND LANGUAGE and other abundant and diverse software resources and databases. The relevant resources can assist the research center in conducting financial pattern big data analysis, regulatory database and digital governance platform construction and development.

2. Center Space

With the support of various units such as the school, the R&D office and the College of Management, our team has sufficient professional manpower, software, hardware and R&D space (new space includes: 189 square meters of innovation and entrepreneurship base space) and necessary funding injection, which can effectively integrate the resources needed by the cross-disciplinary research team, integrate the existing research team resources and related research manpower.

In addition to the professional manpower and necessary funding injection, the school also renovated the environment of the Big Data Research Center, and will continue to provide space for industry-academia cooperation in the future.
